The Purda cabinet is a fresh interpretation towards traditional cabinet construction. It questions and re-imagines vertical members and cabinet doors, replacing it with a pleated fabric which can be slid open or closed, acting as a veil covering the contents of the cabinet. The pleated fabric adds a certain fragility and airiness, lending the room a quality of openness.
